Theresa Collington, Vice President at Tucker/Hall, is known for her expertise in online reputation management, developing communications strategies that focus on digital media strategies, and C-Suite level coaching and advising. She leads Tucker/Hall’s Digital practice, and her specialties include Aviation, Transportation, Health Care, and Reputation Management.
Theresa started her broadcast career as a Regional News Producer at ABC News in New York and ran ABC’s Carolinas News Network in North and South Carolina. She worked as an Executive Producer at Bay News Nine and then served for over 14 years as the Director of Digital Content and Operations for WTSP-TV, the CBS affiliate in Tampa Bay.
From there, Theresa developed a strategic consulting practice. Client work includes over three years as the Director of Digital and Audience Development for WorkingNation as part of a team of Academy Award-winning directors and producers in Los Angeles. This team developed a movement that consisted of compelling digital, television, and film content that explains the high stakes surrounding automation, education, and the Future of Work. She has successfully served top-tier clients in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, and Florida.
Theresa taught Advanced Interactive Reporting for the University of Florida and various advanced workshops for the Poynter Institute for Media Studies. She has won several awards and earned a master’s degree in the Florida Studies program at USF. Currently, Theresa is part of a team teaching Media Relations in Aircraft Accident Investigation for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
