You are currently viewing Never Run Out of Blog Content With These Tips

If you’ve been doing content marketing for a while, you might notice your blog starting to feel stale. Maybe your posts aren’t getting as much attention, or it feels like you’re repeating yourself. This happens to almost every blog, especially those that are updated often.

The good news is that there are ways to refresh your content strategy and keep your audience engaged.

Publish blogs from multiple contributors. Having one or two writers on your team helps with consistency, but it can start to feel repetitive. Both your writers and your readers benefit from a change of pace. Invite guest contributors from other blogs or hire freelancers to bring in fresh ideas. Feeling burned out on blogging doesn’t mean you’re a bad marketer—it just means it’s time for a fresh perspective.

Repurpose other marketing materials. If you can’t think of what to write about next, look at your existing content. You can use excerpts from old blog posts, e-books, or white papers to come up with new ideas. Maybe your brand voice has changed since you first created those pieces, so you can add a fresh take to your earlier ideas.

Find inspiration from unlikely subjects. Even though you’re representing your company, you can use your own experiences to create original content. If you have interests or skills outside your industry, use them to write content that only you can offer.

Choose simple topics. It’s easy to forget that readers often want the simplest solution to their problems. Try not to overwhelm them with too much information. For example, if your website is about auto repair, you could write articles for beginners, like a 16-year-old learning to change power steering fluid, not just for experienced hobbyists interested in detailed engine work.
